• Must not have had sun exposure or sunless tanning spray/lotions within 2 weeks and must refrain from tanning throughout the treatment plan.
• Avoid retinol and skincare products containing acidic ingredients (glycolic, salicylic, lactic) for 5 days prior to session.
• Begin taking antiviral prophylaxis treatment 5 days prior if prone to Herpes I or II in the area to be treated.
• Avoid alcohol for one week.
• Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated one week prior.
• Shave the treatment area the night before.
• Alert your practitioner if you have an implanted metal device.
CONSIDERATIONS PRIOR TO TREATMENT:
• Must not have had sun exposure or sunless tanning spray/lotions within 2 weeks and must refrain from tanning throughout the treatment plan.
• Begin taking antiviral prophylaxis treatment 5 days prior if prone to Herpes I or II in the area to be treated.
• Shave treatment area the night before.
• With your prescribing physician’s approval, stop taking blood thinning medications 2 weeks prior and avoid for 1 week post treatment.
• Blistering of the treatment area is likely but relatively painless.
• Avoid sun exposure, swimming pools, lakes, saunas, hot tubs until skin is completely healed.
